I'm headed to Vancouver this week for Salt Spring Film Festival. I haven't been to British Columbia for many years (my last trip may have involved a Vanagon and a BC/DC show...) and I can't wait to return. Salt Spring Film Festival is a true indie festival with an activist spirit. The lineup of films this year is incredible, including Tickling Giants by my friend Sara Taksler. I've heard great things about this festival from fellow filmmakers, which counts for a lot. And, Salt Spring Island looks beautiful.
